Despite this being the first time entering into the 2019 Australian Food Awards, central west dairy farmers Little Big Dairy were awarded medals for all of their product lines.
Little Big Dairy Co won gold medals for its Full Cream milk, Less Cream milk and Pouring Cream.
Silver medals were awarded for the double cream, no-cream milk, non-homogenised milk and Fair-Trade coffee milk.
They won bronze for the Fair-Trade chocolate milk and Honey, Malt and Vanilla flavoured milks.
This is the first time the company has entered into the AFA and are celebrating success in every category entered.
"We are so proud and humbled by these awards. For us, this is verification for all the little things our family take so much care with, in sharing our Little Big Dairy products with as many people as possible," owner and director Emma Elliott said.
The Little Big Dairy Co is a family-run business located outside Dubbo NSW who produce high quality, single-source milk from one dairy, traceable down to the very cow that made it.
Each of their 800 Holstein cows has a name that they know by heart.
The AFA, conducted by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), offers entrants the opportunity to benchmark against set criteria; receive invaluable independent feedback from industry experts; and be rewarded for excellence.
